Evan brings over 17 years of progressive HR leadership experience, translating HR strategy into measurable business performance. He works closely with executive teams to ensure HR systems, policies, and leadership practices support sustainable growth and operational excellence.
Evan Jewsbury, MS, PHR, is a certified and experienced, hands-on Human Resources leader and consultant with more than 17+ years of progressive leadership experience across higher education, healthcare, corporate, and nonprofit sectors. He has served as Chief Human Resources Officer for multiple institutions—including the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture, Tulsa Community College, and Missouri Southern State University—where he led enterprise-wide initiatives in compensation strategy, benefits optimization, organizational development, compliance, HR technology, and culture transformation. Evan currently operates Innovative Creations LLC, providing fractional, contract, and project-based HR support for organizations seeking clarity, structure, and data-driven decisions.
His clients include organizations preparing for growth, navigating leadership transitions, or needing strategic or hands-on HR support without hiring a full-time executive. Evan delivers comprehensive HR advisory services grounded in real-world experience, with strengths in complex employee relations, investigations, diversity & inclusion initiatives, compensation and benefits design, recruitment, training and development, wellness program design, employee engagement strategies, and human resources technologies.

Evan also has a long history of adjunct teaching, during which he has taught a variety of HR Management courses. Evan has been an active member and leader within many HR-related boards for more than a decade and is passionate about developing and mentoring HR professionals.
Outside of work, Evan enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with friends and family.
